Last night on my way home, it was snowing in Tehachapi but once I got over the ridge and went by the prison, the snow turned to rain. Nothing was falling this morning but lots of snow and ice around 4500'. At 4000' from the prison west there was a light dusting from overnight and about 1 to 2 inches in Tehachapi proper. Roads, freeway and railroad operating to Bakersfield.
