In late 1973, maybe early 1974, I caught the C628 3116 in Roseville, on its journey to Eugene.

Reportedly (
sources) according to Strapac, SP 3116 was built in April 1965 as SP 4866, construction number 3401-22, SP Class DF-504. In 1965 it was renumbered SP 7125, SP Class AF628-2. In Nov. 1973 it was downgraded to switcher status and became 3114, SP Class AS628-1. It was sold in Feb. 1980.
