Anyone know the progress on rebuilding the tunnels south of
Ashland Oregon? Would they be capable of allowing maximum clearances for such as double stack loads? Is it possible that should UP suffer another disastrous landslide in the Cascades..in the future, would it be possible for UP and AMTRAK to use CORP as a detour rather than BNSF or running from Portland to LA by way of SLC?
