So a co-worker walks in last week with a DVD his neighbor burned from video he shot the week before of a rotary plow in action in north Idaho. Snow was up to the rooftops of the ex-Soo Line plow and its accompanying A-B-A F-units. Curved timber trestle and tall, straight steel viaduct (plus several tunnels) made me think of the Camas Prairie, but it was shot near Spirit Lake, Idaho. Okay, so it's been decades since the MILW ran through Spirit Lake, and the plow and power were clearing some dude's elaborate backyard railroad. Neat stuff on any scale. I'm sure that after the big dump of dry powder we got earlier this week he's been back at it, even if the temps are at or below zero this morning.
