4014 notes and questions

I remember when 3985 first ran from Cheyenne to Ogden back in the 80s. There are way more people coming to see 4014, and it's not even running!

Thank you, UP. I was born in 1962. I never thought I'd see a Big Boy turn a wheel in my lifetime. Thanks also to whoever decided to hook up the lights and the whistle!

And now, some questions. 4014 makes this clanking noise while rolling. I've heard similar sounds from 3985, but I never suspected that it was something that would happen when not steamed up. What makes it? The rods? The suspension?

Also, how is the whistle running? Off of the air line? (It doesn't sound quite right - it's too deep, like the pressure isn't the 300 PSI it normally runs off of.)
