On the 70 Lead at the Homestead. Carman's shanty in right background. Yard air compressor building and tank in left background. GP9 (in yard srvice) laying over on the "House Track" behind it.

The 1170 had been assigned to the NWP and briefly worked in Oakland before being sent to Houston for rebuilding.
