Two photoshop treatments of this image, years apart...
On November 16, 1974 Southern Pacific C628 3128, former ALCo Demonstrator 628-4, waits at the east end of the yard at West Colton, CA for an EMD powered eastbound to pass by.
Shot in a funky mix of twilight, smog, haze (remember "smaze"?) mercury vapor and tungsten light. Color and black and white versions. Analog image Kodachrome slide.
Which do you like better?
