Another big ALCo. The blue sky is due to a color shift in post production.

Southern Pacific Alco C630 3149 sits in West Colton on December 29, 1973.

Reportedly (sources), according to Strapac's great SP Compendium series, SP 3149 was built in May 1966 as SP 7814, SP Class AF630-1, construction number 3439-15. It was downgraded to switcher status, becoming SP 3149, SP Class AS630-1, in May 1973. It was retired in June 1979 and scrapped.
