Does car hire stop when a car is 'damaged' and sent to a shop (not DV'd)? I remember from a time back when I was at a car shop lumber boxcars would come in, sometimes at a slow pace for 'shop repairs'. Many times it was 30 minutes of work getting doors to roll. I wonder, was there a benefit to someone in covering their errors by bad-ordering a car?
