Electric light rail - forget the freight. There isn't enough; that's why SP spun it off.

Besides the yuppies and ritchie riches and local pols plan to turn the Northbay into the Peninsula. They'll kill off those grain elevators in time. What's left of ag will be wine grapes.

115lb instead of 136lb rail sets the tone. But don't worry; SMART will exhaust its operating funds pretty quick and then set its sights on bus monies. It will get ugly then.
