A similar operation was the Meadow River Lumber Company out of Rainelle, West Virginia - which coincidentally was also purchased by G-P. They also waded through water crossings with with geared engines. I believe they too had a Plymouth, but they also had two late model non-standard GE 70 tons. Not sure if the Plymouths on either road were diesel-electric or hydraulic drive, but it is likely they only forded the creeks when the water was no more than a few inches over the rail.
