I was at Ord around '70 to '71. Don't remember on base rail traffic. Do remember beating the holiday rush of returning GIs by taking the Del Monte from the big city up north down to Ord.
Our ranks were dropped years ago, we'd be sergeants now. Same pay, bland title.
