Ah Camp Roberts, or join the Army Reserve and see the world of 102 degree every day Camp Roberts for two weeks every glorious summer. Which, at that time, beat a fun filled full year in 102 degree and 99% humidity Viet Nam, even if that meant "higher pay" and seeing "more" of the fun filled world that the Army then had to offer.

Choo choo's I recall at Camp Roberts, way back then, like it seems to be today, was mostly equipment, for Army Reserve or California National Guard training. Most units trucked there stuff in though, as I recall.
