Have been here in Ventura this week for business, and note an unusual amount of freight activity, at least based on what I thought there would be. My impression was that there were two through freights each way on the Coast Line, plus a local from Guadalupe to Gemco and back Tuesday and Thursday, with most activity late PM or early AM so as not to interfere with Amtrak. I've seen flatbeds and auto rack trains during daylight hours. Any word on what these could be?
