This is soooo laugh - able, as Tehachapi ( and Bakersfield ) was hosting oil trains THIRTY YEARS AGO !!! Actually, both Espee and Santa Fe ran oil trains over Tehachapi one hundred years ago, until a pipeline was built over the Grapevine / Ft.Tejon route to the South. Now all of a sudden it's an issue ?!?
