Perhaps the customers at that Winco purchased all the available Trains copies? Maybe the R&R subscribers that didn't get their issues bought Trains instead?
Kalmbach has nothing to do with R&R, RMC or White River Productions, AFAIK. It is possible that Kalmbach may have been considering purchase of some Carstens assets, though.
