N.F.-- Warren Wing actually put out about FIVE books as I recall. Two different publishers. OSO was the last. Jim Fredrickson of NP fame has published some stuff of the area as well.
Also check out Tacoma and Seattle books by Paul Dorpat..

Warren always said that the actual COACH YARD is where the Kingdome was. There was a branch track via a tunnel that veered off of the Southbound GN main, just barely North of King Street station and ran across to Schwabacher Hardware(sic) on 1st Avenue. I believe he said this was the old "MAIL" lead.
Dick Seelye mentioned MOHAI.. That's the Museum of History and Industry off of Montlake Blvd and SR 520 near the Univ of WA...

Someone also mentioned about the College group. That's the Northwest Railfan Group that meets at North Seattle CC in Lecture Hall 1141...

It was also mentioned in this thread about a Mr. Ramey and the Northwest Transportation Historical Group.. FYI--- They will have a "BIG" display at the NMRA's big Trainmeet at the end of April (4-26,27) at the Puyallup Fair Grounds. "Trains, Trains & More Trains"..
There's your chance to ask detailed questions, B.F. Take care.
