A narrow gauge steam powered rotary is actually a fairly simple machine as the rotating speed
of the piston engine is easily controlled and the only intermediate gearing is the bull gear
pinion arrangement. Only problem of course is that component balance wasn't exactly at the top
of the list when these things were built. They have a tendency to disassemble themselves.
