This has been very interesting and educational. I live in Auburn,WA, and a year or so ago I started noticing Bigge trucks and cranes occasionally. Then I noticed they have a yard in one of the town's industrial areas. I thought they must have named themselves for the size of their equipment. Now I learn they are a very old company with world wide operations and Bigge is the name of the founder a hundred years ago. Auburn is the apparently fairly new Seattle area site. And they have at Auburn at least one of my favorite heavy trucks: wide radiatored Kenworth T800.
