Carol-- Ah yes, Miss Carol--
That author is so eloquent in his writings.. So much so, I almost thought it was some of your very own words of wisdom and personal memories... He even mentions two old famous SF "haunts"..
The Palace Hotel and 'The Fly Trap' ... Remember those, Carol.. The great food and service in the "French Parlour" of the Palace... and of course, The Fly Trap (restaurant) on Geary Street.. Same place where a Horse pulling a delivery wagon fell down a sidewalk freight elevator... The memories never cease. Thanks for sharing such a great story !
