Dozers and front-end loaders have their uses, and their limitations.

What on earth would be accomplished by using a highway rotary? How would you get it into position to do anything useful? More to the point, how would you get the highway department or the ski areas (assuming the snow problem is within a few hundred miles of a ski area) to let you use their equipment? You can bet that the highway department and the ski areas need that equipment, too.

Jet snow blowers are nothing new; they've been around for about 3 decades or more. They are very useful for cleaning switches and road crossings, but not for much else. They also tend to send anything loose flying. Like ice chunks, rocks, trash, etc.
