Back in the late '50s I remember eating in a railroaders cafe at the east end of Newhall Yard in San Jose. The cafe was just off Newhall Street when it was still open across the yard tracks. If I remember correctly it was a long counter with just a couple of tables and was so close to one of the tracks that it felt like an earthquake when a locomotive went by. Anyone else recall this place? If so, do you remember the name?
