My wife saw the flash in the sky (our bedroom window faces west) while I was in the shower. If almo says something hit near Hatton, there must have been multiple entries. Observers from Walla Walla, Dayton, Ritzville, and Lewiston all said it was in the northeast sky. Assuming they had their bearings right, whatever they saw would not have come down near Hatton. This thing(s) was seen from as far away as northern Oregon and southern Canada. And some accounts describe a sonic boom or loud thud. Yeah, I'd be curious as well to know what any railroaders saw. Meanwhile, don't discount the possibility that it was that pesky satellite dropping out of orbit, or being shot down, two days earlier than was officially scheduled. Maybe the Chinese took another shot at one of theirs just to thumb their nose at us. Last time they did this, it took weeks before our government even admitted the Chinese had pulled it off. (Using U.S. technology purchased through Lincoln bedroom stays at the White House during a previous administration, but again I DIGRESS.)
