Believe It or Not, There is a connection.

There are only 4 of the Dreamlifters (modified 747s,) and they are part of Boeing's rather dubious "supply chain" strategy for "sourcing" parts for the 787. The connection is that having a supply chain for Bakken crude dependent of rail, is also rather dubious.
