Here is what I propose. Tell the state that you want to see Fallon to Moscow preserved as a railroad (tracks in place) for future rail service, and tell the state that you want to see Pullman to Colfax rebuilt as a trail, and to user the track materials to rebuild the Oakasdale to Thornton section. This is a compromise solution that will preserve and improve rail service for this section of the inland northwest, while at the same time providing new recreational opportunities for the Pullman and Colfax area. Everybody gets something good!
