If there really was a scenario of Dworshak failing, it would be in the category of a gradual drawdown of the reservoir as fissures widen beyond expedient repair. We're talking about megatons of concrete surrounded by megatons of solid rock. A barrage of cruise missles would have a hard time of taking it out.

Keep in mind also that those levees in New Orleans were made of fill, and money for upgrading them was more often than not siphoned off for the personal use of the area politicians.

Again, this is just another attempt by the MSM to needlessly scare people. Kind of like this notion of catastrophic man-made climate change...........

Perhaps when the next Ice Age hits us, a glacier will push and crush the dam into oblivion.
