As I recall, the pipeline still exists. Problem is, a portion of it runs through an Indian Reservation, and the Indian nation wanted BIG buck$ in their new contract with the pipeline company.
The picture reminds me of the Module Railroad club I was a part of in Orange County. My Santa Fe passenger train featured Walthers vinyl diaphrams, and horn - hook couplers ( with the trip pins cut off ) that I installed tightly. One derailment looked just like the tank cars, with all the passenger cars laying on their sides !!!
