Radio Shack makes apre-programmed NASCAR scanner. It has 10 banks 200 channels and recieves really well. Its small enough to fit in your shirt pocket. Its recieves on all the VHF/UHF channels and is NOT trunked.

If you are in an area that has no NASCAR circut you may pick up this scanner for as little as $50-$90. Just program it for whatever you want....I forgot it picks up air/marine well too.

BNC connector makes it easy to use an outside mobile/fixed antenna.

I bought mine for $50 and it came with a HUGE set of head phones. Best little scanner I've ever had. Audio ain't to bad either!!
