How many, if any, restrictions has the state placed on what you can do? For example, if you were to locate a customer, would you be able to build them a spur to serve them, or would the state have to O.K. it (however long that would take) first? Are there any industrial sites left on the line where businesses could locate? Have the paper barriers been lifted so that all former BNSF customers could load UP cars if they wanted/needed to? Back when BNSF sold the line, my husband was involved with a group wanting to bid, in the bid package it stated that UP could set-out and pick-up at Marshall---is this still possible, and would having UP's main line local the MHKSK set-out and pick-up at Marshall (on it's way by to Spokane) eliminate the costly surcharges on the Wilson traffic coming from UP via BNSF in Spokane?
