Phoenix Union Station - Appears to be a cell site

I was curious to see what the Phoenix Union Station status is for hosting passenger trains...looking at Google Maps street view I see that the station tracks have been removed with UP main bypassing around to the south. It also looks like Sprint Cellular trucks are parked within the station parking and site is fenced and gated off. I would guess the station is no longer welcome to serving passenger trains. Is there any Phoenix railfans that can elaborate on the station status? Nice looking station!
