Clean up work

I have been following Sonoma Marin Area Rapid Transit (SMART) as I use to live in Marin County some years ago. There is a few things I not sure how they do it and there are no pictures of how it done maybe someone can fill on the gaps. One is undoing the nuts and bolts that tie the rail together. Do they break them a large wrench or use a hydraulic wrench to do the job. Two and when it come time to clean up all the loose hardware do a few men with shovels load them into a wheelbarrow and hull them off. Its one of those things that important but is never talk about.

Thanks.
