"Geary *SHOULD* belong to the Muni, but the Muni has no plans to do anything with it"

Ed Lee has plans for Geary; it is called BART. Muni cannot do anything because Lee and his friends downtown want to see Geary Carhouse-Presidio Yard sold off.

Basically the plan is to slowly destroy Muni with BART extensions. Lee is stabbling TWU 250A in the back and they seem to be oblivious.

If you are going to blow billions on full grade separation, massive stations with level boarding and state of the art signalization and automated controls driverless is indicated. That would serve Amalgamated right for trying to quash Muni the way BART has AC Transit. If they don't, payroll will be so bloated fares will be so high as to discourage activity. The bridge tolls are already at that point.
