That would make WAY too much sense. Plus Tacoma would like the RR out of their watershed.

As for a tie-in, the MILW Enumclaw branch would work fine, one would think.

Alas, we're lucky the public hasn't (yet) demanded all the rails pulled up, they certainly won't go back over a popular hiking trail. Nothing like walking a two mile puddle in the dark, I guess.

My bet is with BN even agreeing to the project and putting "40 million" in, there won't be any UP access.
