The state certainly has a net export surplus in agricultural products, but I believe JBM's point was that much of the overall dollar value of our exports is made up of those flying machines from Boeing. Those expensive aircraft do more to counterbalance our importation of sneakers and ipods than wheat and apples. There is also that little software company Microsoft who does quite a good business overseas too.
