I know there's plenty of WP fans lurking around here so I wanted to throw out this reminder that our annual (12th this year!) WPRRHS convention is coming up on Friday April 11th and Saturday April 12th and will be held in Sacramento this year.

Have you been to one of these WP conventions yet? They are a lot of fun. Great people, informative and entertaining presentations, interesting models and memorabilia on display and a fun Saturday evening banquet that always features an interesting keynote speaker.

All the information on the convention is at the below link including a tentative list of presentations/clinics and information on keynote speaker Andy Kinicki, a 30 year veteran railroader...most of it with the WP.

All profits from the convention go directly to the Arthur Walter Keddie Railroad Library at the Western Pacific Railroad Museum in Portola. Pre-registration deadline is APRIL 4, 2007. Day-of walk-ins are welcomed except for the banquet (we need an advance count for the catering for that).
