Dang! When I saw the byline "New Tunnel For Spokane", I thought maybe someone decided in favor of my idea of building a twin-bore tunnel under the South Hill from the Hamilton overpass southwest to the Marshall Creek flats. That would allow the downtown viaduct to be removed or at least "greenified".

FYI - That north south freeway will still be under construction 20 years from how.
