My perspective is that Fortress probably chose to make a
profitable high-interest short-tern loan secured by prime
real estate rather than take a very risky long term gamble
on the concept that those few miles of rail will someday
earn a comparable profit and return of the investment.
Remember, Fortress is a business, not a charity or arm of
government.
