That part of the UP Cascade Sub.is a nice section of track between K-Fall and Chemult,lots of trains,depending on the day of course but i've always found it to busy(Joint UP/BNSF) Really under Photograghed IMHO,especially if you do alittle hiking up on the hills around there. And if you go farther north on top, around Crescent Lake or The Odell Lake Lodge,which BTW has Cabins(resonable) you can stay over nite or longer, that's within walking distance of the UP.The Lodge has a nice 1930's feel to it,and boats you can rent,to go across the lake, fish and take train pictures(#14 AM/#11 PM) all while enjoying alitte sun and swiming in the summer.
