Via Feather river would be waaaaayyy to long. Hence the reason UP would like to move double stacks up Donner. Shorter = faster.

I'm not sure what the time would be via Feather river to Reno, but I would say atleast 2 hours longer.

Would be interesting to see if they would offer the WP north and W of Sacrament to BNSF.
