Boy Ed, what optimism.

POTB currently has an outstanding RFP for engineering firms to bid on the repair work. I beleive the deadline is someitme this week. I have been informed that there are several companies in communication with POTB and planning on submitting. Work trains for debris cleanup between Tillamook and Salmonberry are expected to start in the next week or so.

It has been a slow process and continues to be slow. However, the people I have talked to and heard seem very optimistic that the RR will reopen. When and how long it takes is the big question.
