Two:
The first was a very large guy with four camera hanging from his neck,a Daylight teeshirt, SP hat. We where in the cab of the 4449 in Los Angeles. He said that the pressure of the boiler was no more than a 30.06 shell. I think that Doyle said a 30.06 can't pull 12 cars at 70 mph...
The second was a guy up at the T-loop who with is son watched a long freight go by. Afterwards, he turned to bison and asked him what type of locomotive, who made it, what was the power output, and a whole bunch of stuff. The kid was flabbergasted. Then the father pulled out the notebook and marked down each loco number.
Made me feel that the normal foamers are normal
