Not to disagree too much, but I am not sure that Mr. Wrinn is THAT much of an asset to Trains Mag. Let me explain. I have been reading Trains since I was a teenager starting in 1971. I vividly remember the great David P. Morgan saying that he always guarded against giving too much coverage to the local scene around Milwaukee at the expense of the rest of the country let the magazine become too 'parochial'. Under Mr. Wrinn, I see a lot of coverage of local steam around the Midwest, but not even one news photo of the historic double-header of 844 and 4449 in the Pacific Nortwest last May.
Just my 2 cents. :-)
