With Tesla being a good example of the movement of manufacturing and wharehousing to NV, my understanding that the virtual overnight demise of canning in the Bay Area also had a lot to do with it since the manufactures of the cans were along 3rd street in SF and the canneries were located in the East Bay. IIRC (MDO article on TO) stated that SP was running 100 car trains to service that industry between SF and OAK.
