Ex CN paddle wheel ferry Lansdowne

I know it's a long way away (although not too far from my home town), but the ex-Canadian National side wheel ferry Lansdowns, which churned its way from Detroit, MI to Windsor, ONT and back for decades, is in the process of being scraped in Buffalo, NY. What is of more local interest is the two cars on deck, the ex MILW Skytop Observations Gold Creek & Arrow Creek, whose fate is uncertain. When I was a kid, I used to go to the riverfront by the Grand Trunk Western's Brush Street Station and watch the Lansdowne or it's running mate, the Huron, make their journeys across the river.....
