There is so little left of those two Skytop lounge-sleeper's that they might as well be scrapped. No interior is left, the insides reportedly being completely gutted, and nearly one whole side of each car is missing. What is left is in such poor shape that there is really little to no reason to hang onto them. I'd rather see the Lansdown itself saved. There is a lot more railroad equipment from the earlier years of our history than there is of the old boats.
But then, that boat, too, is in pretty sorry shape. IIRC, the engine is gone, too.
