The reason it indicates 'Spokane via BNSF' is because the UP utilizes trackage rights over the BNSF to connect the Ayer Sub (Hinkle-Fish Lake) to the Spokane Sub (SIRR; Spokane-Eastport) and to gain access to the Spokane Yard and what's left of the Wallace and Tekoa Branches.
