i presume you never took any accounting classes if you attended college. that's okay, not everybody does

the material taught in accounting 101 teaches that asset sales are not considered income. it's been decades since i took my accounting classes and thats one thing i remember very clearly. frrs lost money as bill meeker is saying because it wasnt income. thats not me giving my endorsement of bill, its elementary accounting talking. go find yourself an accounting textbook and see for yourself

and just because a bookkeeper thinks it's legal doesn't make it so.

i agree with some of your other points. my contention is that accurate financial reporting and proper use of resources is number one priority in any 501c3, but not happening at portola.

your perception of their financial health is all wrong
