Of course BART-MTC want Caltrain with no W.C.'s to avoid a negative comparison with ghetto BART, MTC's pet.

Apparently, once again, BART is under pressure to re-open lavatories and to ditch Bechtelian cylindrical wheelsets. BART is saying it will if it is "safe". What bunch of morons, as if all the rest of the railroading world is not using tapered wheels.

Safe? Makes me think of the Godfather:

"Michael: They want to arrange a meeting between me and Barzini. On Tessio's ground. Where I'll be safe"
