No direct government money, yet....that I know of, except maybe Research and Development tax credits, available to all firms.

This concept for a "revolutionary" new transport systems has been proposed at least 6 or 7 times in the last 150 years, or so, ever since the first pneumatic tubes powered by air pressure. Magnetic repulsion technologies to guide and potentially power such a system, to make this type of concept possible, have only been around for 40 or so years....

The economics of this proposal would appear to hinge on somehow being able to build this super cheaply, in tunnels, and none of this explains to me how that "miracle" suddenly occurs.

Remember, with Elon Musk, you're dealing with an ego almost as big as Trump's, albeit with a much larger brain, and without the bad hairpiece.....

So, like with the earlier Communist manifesto (promising a world of peace and brotherhood....), I'll be waiting to see the progress on this "revolutionary" new concept, as it unfolds, to see where it goes.
