WES Construction Update

The tracklaying required for Westside Express Service is almost complete. In downtown Beaverton, crews are currently working in the center of Lombard Street north of Canyon Road. This is the last track section to go in.

The double track at the Beaverton end of the route now extends all the way from Hall Blvd. to the intersection of Lombard St. and Farmington Rd. As the tracks pass through the intersection, the original (west) track continues west and the new (east) track curves to the right and up Lombard.
